Memcached in Hosting
When you host script-driven sites in a hosting account with our company, you’ll be able to add the Memcached memory caching system to your shared hosting plan with only a couple of clicks through your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The upgrade will be available immediately and, since the extension needed for it is pre-installed on our leading-edge cloud platform, you can begin using it right away. To give you more versatility, we offer two separate upgrades related to the number of instances (in other words – how many Internet sites will use Memcached) and to the memory that Memcached will use. The latter is available in increments of 16 MB and you can order as much memory as you want. Logically, the more memory the Memcached caching system is permitted to use, the more content it will cache, so in case you’ve got a large-sized site with a lot of data, you may need more memory to be able to make full use of the power that Memcached can offer you.
Memcached in Semi-dedicated Servers
You can get the Memcached distributed memory object caching system as an optional upgrade with each of our semi-dedicated hosting service and since it works with any script-based software app, you can use it for any Internet site that you host on our servers, no matter what application you have used – Mambo, Joomla™ or WordPress, a custom app, etc. You can add the upgrade from the corresponding section of the Hepsia Control Panel from which you manage your semi-dedicated server account, and you can choose two different features – the number of instances and the amount of memory that they will use. To put it in simple terms, these things show the number of the sites that will use Memcached and the amount of system memory that the system will be able to use in order to store your data. The two things are ordered separately for more flexibility and one instance does not come with a fixed amount of memory. You can take advantage of the Memcached system with any kind of site and both you and your site visitors will quickly notice the difference in the performance.
Memcached in VPS Servers
You’ll get Memcached with each of the VPS server plans that we’re offering if you choose Hepsia as your hosting Control Panel and you’ll be able to activate the content caching platform via the section with the same name. The configuration takes several clicks and you will distinguish the difference in the performance of your sites almost immediately. The amount of memory that the Memcached caching platform can employ to cache information depends on the particular Virtual Private Server plan that you have selected, but at any rate it won’t be less than several hundred MB, which is quite enough even for several content-heavy websites. You can use Memcached with websites powered by WordPress, Joomla™ or any other web-based application and lower the load on your virtual server, which will allow you to keep using the current VPS hosting plan rather than migrating to a more powerful one, since you simply won’t need it. Memcached is already being used by famous websites like Reddit, Zynga and Wikipedia, which shows its efficiency.
Memcached in Dedicated Servers
Memcached comes for free with all dedicated service offered by our company and the one and only requirement is that the dedicated server must be ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You can use the memory caching system for any database-driven site, including those based on popular apps – for example, a WordPress online diary or a Joomla™-powered community site. Each dedicated machine is tied to a given amount of system memory that the Memcached caching system can use, but the minimum you will get is three gigabytes, which is quite enough to enhance the speed of very large sites immensely, since this very memory will be dedicated to storing the cached info. The Memcached system will begin storing info once it is enabled, so soon thereafter, you’ll observe the enhanced performance of your Internet sites and the decreased load on your dedicated machine. Numerous sites use Memcached to improve their effectiveness, including famous ones like Wikipedia and Reddit.
